Classy Chassis Mobile Bar Co. Serves up Old Fashioned Hospitality

The Classy Chassis Mobile Bar Co. was born two years ago when owners Christy and Jason Roy decided to take a simple vintage horse trailer and turn it into a whimsical event service. This repurposing concept has taken hold nationwide, and the Roys knew they could put their own personal spin on the trend. Affectionately named Floyd, the Classy Chassis cart might be a small space, but it packs a ton of charm into any occasion that you can imagine.

Essentially, Classy Chassis is a bar service in which you can buy your own alcohol, and their staff will do the rest, leaving you to keep any extra alcohol at the end of the event! This can save folks quite a bit of money in the long run when it comes to the more catch-all drink packages that wedding venues offer. Plus, you can count on Classy Chassis to work with local breweries and distilleries, as they are passionate about supporting the brands in their own community.

“Since Jason and I met three years ago and married, we knew we always wanted to do something together utilizing our creativity and hospitality,” says Christy. “We love the idea of entertaining and giving guests an experience like no other in the bar industry, and now we’ve used our talents to bring the concept to Acadiana.”

Classy Chassis Mobile Bar Co. is an excellent choice for weddings, but also for corporate events, retail pop-ups, and any other occasion you can think of. They also offer a small gathering package that includes a photo booth, providing the perfect vintage-vibe memento during a celebration. As Christy puts it, Classy Chassis always brings the “Instagramable aesthetic to your party,” providing an ambiance to bring people together for fun photo ops.

The Bar’s menu includes mocktails, coffee, wine, beer, champagne and cocktails, all customized to fit your needs.

“We handle all the details of your beverage bar with passion and good old-fashioned hospitality,” says Christy. “We can style our bar to match the theme of any party.”

Christy and Jason met at Festival Internationale years ago, so the event has always held a special place in their hearts. Despite Festival being virtual last year due to COVID, the couple served drinks in a local neighborhood for a private event, managing to keep the Festival vibe alive. It’s these kinds of evenings that make the job so fulfilling.

“Everyone we meet for an event becomes our friends,” explains Christy. “They are celebrating life in some way, so it’s our mission to bring that joy, playfulness, and creativity to help give them a bar experience they will cherish and remember for a lifetime!”

The latest endeavor for the company is the addition of lounge areas and yard games to their rental options. Find out more about Classy Chassis Mobile Bar Co. by visiting their website and following them on Facebook and Instagram.
